Our Event
For the early birds, it all starts with the world-famous Pancake Breakfast at the Gleneden Beach Community Club (110 Azalea St) . Come enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage or ham, served with orange juice, coffee or tea, from 8AM to 10:30AM. $10 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12, under 6 is free.
The festival begins around 11AM, featuring a variety of vendors offering handmade crafts, face painting and local delicacies. The highlight of the event, the Parade, will start at 1PM. Watch as the US Coast Guard Color Guard and rescue helicopter lead vintage vehicles, clowns and community groups marching down the streets of Gleneden Beach, celebrating the spirit of freedom and patriotism.
The procession winds through the heart of Gleneden Beach, creating a festive atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and the waving of flags.
Live music, featuring local greats - Sitka, starts immediately after the parade ends, around 2PM, and continues to 4PM, when the event ends.
This event not only honors our nation's 250 years of independence, it also strengthens community bonds, making it a highlight of the summer season!
